Sun Ray Homes Clubhouse Rental

The clubhouse can be rented to all homeowner members.  Please contact Laurie Rogers to rent the clubhouse.  The following is the rental policy:

The Sun Ray Homes Clubhouse is Available for Rental to Members Only

      The rental fee is $100.00, which may be paid by cash, or by check if paid 12 days prior to the rental date (to allow for bank clearance). The Clubhouse will not be considered reserved until the $100.00 rental fee is received. If the event is cancelled less than two weeks before the scheduled day, and the Clubhouse is not subsequently rented on the scheduled day, only $50.00 will be returned. The Clubhouse cannot be rented for any commercial purposes.

      A $100.00 security/damage deposit is also required, which must be paid in cash before the key to the Clubhouse is received by the renter. This deposit will be returned to the renter if there are no fines against the renter for damage or misuse of the building.

      Other rental terms and fees may be negotiated by the Building Director to allow for different types of rentals under different circumstances and time frames. All rentals shall be to club members only.

The following rules apply to members renting the Clubhouse:

1. Do not drink or serve alcoholic beverages inside the building or on the premises.

2. No smoking is allowed inside the Clubhouse.

3. Keep the key under your control at all times.

4. Do not use the Gas Grill. Do not use the Electric Stove top units to heat or to cook any foods containing grease or vegetable oil ingredients, or items which produce such byproducts. (This ruling has been issued by the Polk County Fire Marshall.)

5. All paper products, food, and decorations will be furnished by the renter.

6. Clean the floor, kitchen, and bathrooms following the event.

7. Return all tables and chairs to their original position following the event, unless instructed otherwise by the Building Director Assistant.

8. Remove all trash from the building and property following the event. If cleaning is required, an amount equal to the cleaning cost will be subtracted from the deposit. Positioning of the tables and chairs, and trash removal are considered to be part of cleaning.

9. Diligent care and respect of Clubhouse property is expected. Damages caused by misuse and/or abuse of Clubhouse property will be charged against the renter.

10. Turn off all lights, air conditioning and water faucets before departing. $10.00 will be subtracted from the deposit for each utility that is left on. (Lights, air conditioning, or water.)     

11. Meet with the Building Director Assistant after the rental for inspection of the clubhouse and return of the deposit. Return the key to the Building Director Assistant at that time.

12. The member renting the Clubhouse must be in attendance at the scheduled event to assure that all rules are observed. Any violation of the rules will result in the suspension of rental privileges until the member renting the Clubhouse appears before the Board of Directors for restitution of those privileges.
